I have just cleared out the handbag that I took to Jon's funeral yesterday and found the tasting notes from a wine tasting that Malcolm and I attended with Jon and Sandra . It immediately brought back memories of that night, Jon trying to outdo the presenter in his usual jovial way and teasing Sandra mercilessly. They were to sell Christmas puddings for the college the next day and Jon was planning their sales strategy. Those tasting notes bought back a warmer glow than that of the wine. Fond memories.
